I picked this up to detail the inner frame on a 1/144 kit and the metallic flake lays down surprisingly smooth for a marker. The color genuinely shifts from silver to purple and green depending on the light angle, which makes panel lines pop way more than standard paint.

I picked this up to touch up the foil trim on my Gunpla and the metallic pigment lays down so smooth. Tilt the piece under a lamp and it rolls through green, purple, and gold instead of sitting flat like normal silver. The EX series really does feel a grade above the standard markers.

The holo shift on this marker is way better than I expected, tilting the piece really does pull out that rainbow butterfly effect. Layered it over a dark base and the metallic flakes pop without hiding the panel lines. Took a couple passes to get an even coat, but the finish is worth it.
