I used this along the edge of a freshly painted cabinet and it peeled off with a clean line, no jagged edges at all. The elasticity makes it curve around corners way easier than the cheap tape I had before. Barely any residue left behind either.
The ultra-thin Japanese paper really does make a difference on curved edges where thicker tape usually lifts. I taped off trim on a cabinet repaint and the lines came out clean with no ridges when I peeled it back.
Didn't expect much from a roll of masking tape but this one actually surprised me. The Japanese paper is so thin that it sits almost flush against the surface, no weird ridge line after I peel it off. Bends around curved trim without tearing too, which is where my old tape always failed.
