Picked this up mostly for the bird mode and it doesn't disappoint — the wings lock in solid and the whole thing stands about 16.5cm, so it fits nicely on my shelf next to smaller kits. Panel lines are crisp and the plastic feels sturdier than I expected for a re-release.
The transformation between bird and robot mode is way smoother than I expected for a kit this size. Joints hold their pose well, and the 16.5cm figure looks great on my shelf next to bigger kits.
Didn't expect a 16.5cm kit to have this much going on, but the bird mode alone sold me. Panels lock up tight and nothing feels loose after the swap.
