Toon - WB008 PLA Navy Shandong

The chibi proportions on this Shandong are adorable without losing the carrier's recognizable silhouette, and the deck markings are surprisingly crisp for such a small kit. Snapped together in one evening with no glue, though the tiny aircraft took some patience with tweezers.

I've built a few of these cartoon warship kits now and this one has the cleanest parts fit by far, barely any flash to sand off. The deck decals went down smooth and the little aircraft actually sit flush on the flight deck. Fun couple of evenings at the desk.

The little chibi Shandong carrier is way cuter in person than I expected, and the cartoon proportions still read clearly as the real ship. Panel lines are crisp and the deck markings went on without any fuss.
