AK10031 Watercolor Pencil Red

The 17cm length gives you a lot of mileage for such a small price, and the semi-grease formula lays down a smooth layer that reacts perfectly to a damp brush. I've used it for subtle rust streaks and it blends out without leaving that chalky residue other pencils do.

Been using this for panel lining on my scale models and the 17cm length means I get a ton of mileage before needing to sharpen. The semi-grease formula dries fast enough that I can smudge it with a finger right after, but it also reactivates with a wet brush when I want a softer wash.

Bought these for weathering my tank models and the 17cm length is a real bonus—way more mileage than the stubby pencils I've used before. The semi-grease core lays down just right on plastic, and a quick water brush blends it into a perfect grimy wash.
