The enamel is thin enough that it flows into the panel lines on its own, which makes the salt streaks look way more natural than my old drybrush method. I did a whole funnel and upper deck in one sitting, and the vertical runs came out exactly like the grimy streaks you see on real warships.
Used it on a destroyer's hull and the vertical salt streaks came out exactly like the grimy, tide-marked look I wanted. The enamel is thin enough to pull downward with a brush but still has enough body to control.
The streaking effect looks genuinely dirty and weathered, not like a cartoon smudge—perfect for the vertical hull panels on my destroyer. It dries down nicely too, so I can layer it without wiping everything off.
