I had a few shallow scratches on a kit I'd been putting off fixing, and this smoothed them out nicely with just a brush. Thinning it a bit made it flow into the little gaps way better than I expected. Dries flat and white so it's easy to see where you've been.

Brushed this over some seam lines and small gaps on a 1/72 kit and it dried smooth enough to sand in about an hour. Thinning it with a little lacquer thinner made it flow into panel lines without leaving brush strokes. Way less fuss than the spray cans I used to mess with.
